Job application letter - 2

Dear sir,

I am writing to apply for the Librarian position advertised in the New york Times. I wish to apply for the post in view of the following facts.

Having passed my Higher Secondary Examination from New york in 1993 with first Class, I joined College of Commerce New york, from where I passed B.A. Examination of New york University in 1998, getting First Class. The same year I joined the Diploma in Library Science course of New york University and passed it.

I have 5 years experience as a librarian in the Govt. Library here. I am at present 35 years of age and have got sound physique and active habits.

I assure you that I have the capability of arranging the whole library on modern lines.

I am enclosing here with a testimonial from one of my lecturers of library course which speaks for itself.

I sincerely hope that you will let me have a reply at an early date. So that I may call at your office for an interview.
